Pam Simmons, California NPEA, Provides the following details:
Once the Pony Express rider reaches the History Museum in Folsom the riders take the bike/horse trail along the river to Old Sacramento. The exchange locations and scheduled times are listed below. The rider can be early or late up to one hour but in the past the closer we get to Sacramento the closer we are to the scheduled times.

5:28 AM - Folsom History Museum (When they leave this location they drop down on the bike/horse trail along the river)
5:51 AM - Willow Creek (where the driving road crosses the bike trail)
6:14 AM - Hazel Ave (Usually right by the parking lot for the fish hatchery)
6:41 AM - Sunrise (by the foot bridge)
7:08 AM - Rossmoor (where the driving road crosses the bike trail)
7:40 AM - Rod Beaudry
8:09 AM - Estates Dr.
8:41 AM - H ST
9:08 AM - I-80
9:45 AM - Discovery Park (back by the old archery range)
10:00 AM - Arrive in Old Sacramento

If you arrive at any of these locations just look for horse trailers and people in red shirts and brown vests.
